Dr. Deepak Ariga is proud to call Chicagoland home. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital and received his fellowship training in Infectious Diseases from Rush University Medical Center. With over 20 years of clinical, teaching, and leadership experience, Dr. Ariga looks forward to providing his patients with compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care.
Dr. Sam Peterson, a native of Racine, Wisconsin, went to UW-Madison for her undergraduate before moving to Chicago to attend medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Despite being a Green Bay Packers fan, she stayed in the Chicagoland area to complete her Family Medicine Residency at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. During this time, she worked on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, inspiring her to complete an additional Internal Medicine Residency at Olympia Fields to ultimately pursue a career in Infectious Disease. Her clinical interests include antimicrobial resistance/stewardship, LGBTQ+ medicine, and clinical education. Outside of the hospital, Sam can most likely be found biking on Lakeshore path, running through Humboldt Park, at a local noise rock show, or enjoying a new restaurant.
Teia L. Atwood is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in diverse healthcare settings. Currently serving as the VP of NP Clinical Services at Trio Health Partners, Teia oversees clinical operations across facilities in Central and Southern Illinois. Her commitment to enhancing patient care is evident in her role, where she aligns the efforts of medical providers with the overarching mission of the organization.
Teia's career path has consistently demonstrated her commitment to quality improvement in healthcare. Her focus on interdisciplinary communication and collaboration has proven essential in providing continuity of care.
In addition to her clinical work, Teia has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Governors State University, where she has empowered nurse practitioner students through lectures, mentorship, and hands-on experiences. Her passion for education extends beyond the classroom as she employed various teaching methods to ensure her students were well-prepared for the challenges of the nursing profession.
Teia works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for her patients. By fostering communication among various healthcare professionals, she ensures that all aspects of a patient's health are addressed, promoting continuity and holistic care.
Patricia Ludwikowska is a graduate of Resurrection University, where she received her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, nationally certified through AANP. Patricia is passionate about infectious disease work and is dedicated to the health and wellness of each of her patients.
Patricia has over 10 years of experience providing direct patient care, and assists Dr. Tahseen J. Siddiqui in managing and treating patients at Humboldt Park Health hospital and outpatient clinic. Outside of work she enjoys traveling to new places and learning about other cultures.
